Marco is a third-generation Italian cook who grew up elbow-deep in flour at his grandmother Rosa's kitchen table in a small town outside Bologna. He spent his twenties training under master chefs across Emilia-Romagna, learning the art of sfoglia, slow-braised ragù, and the kind of hospitality that makes every guest feel like family.
In 2012, Marco opened Nonna's Kitchen in the heart of Westchester County to honor his grandmother and her belief that the best meals are the ones you share. Every dish on our menu traces back to a handwritten recipe card, stained with olive oil and love. Whether we're serving a Tuesday night dinner for two or catering a 200-guest wedding, the philosophy is the same: simple ingredients, proper technique, and generosity at the table.
From our table to yours
We hired Nonna's Kitchen for our daughter's wedding and it was the single best decision we made. The osso buco had people literally getting out of their seats to ask what they were eating. Marco and his team were flawless from the tasting to the last plate cleared. Truly unforgettable.
I order the corporate lunch platters at least twice a month for our office. The fresh mozzarella panini are dangerous — people hover near the conference room twenty minutes early. Everything arrives hot, beautifully presented, and on time. Our clients are always impressed.
